1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ElectionDeflection ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ElectionDeflection is an iOS SMS filtering app that identifies and filters political and election-related text messages. The App uses on-device keyword matching and optional on-device AI models to classify messages. All processing occurs locally on your device.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

ElectionDeflection Pro is available as an auto-renewable annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Annual Subscription: Automatically renews each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Lifetime Purchase: A one-time payment granting permanent access to Pro features.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests should be directed to Apple per their refund policy.

4. No Guarantee of Filtering

ElectionDeflection is provided as a tool to help filter unwanted messages. We do not guarantee that all political or election-related messages will be detected, nor that legitimate messages will never be filtered. You are responsible for reviewing your filtered messages periodically.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. All message filtering happens entirely on your device with no network requests. For full details, including information about our optional text submission feature, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

ElectionDeflection is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. The ElectionDeflection name and logo are the property of Miller Media.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Miller Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
